The Roseiverse

You walk up the stairs to Archives and Collections. It's a decently sized section of the library, with a few shelves to the right. Some of the shelves have books, some have discs. A computer with a comfy pair of studio headphones is here for viewing films. To the left is a drawer of microfilm with a reader in the corner. Ahead of you, a redheaded gnome sitting at a desk looks up as you walk in.

"Hello! Welcome to the archives! This section is a bit different than the rest of the library, so I like to give newcomers a little tour. This is a section dedicated to storing public domain and Creative Commons works, or equivalent licenses, so some things might look a little different and though I agree with the inclusion of all these, I definitely disagree with some of the writing. Everything's organized ascending chronologically, by date of first original publication."

"Most of these works - virtually all of them, really - are available somewhere else, but that's the beauty of the public domain. Even if a hundred other people have published these, there's nothing stopping me from republishing it myself. And you get to see what I think is important to include. Come on, let me show you around!"
