"Woman in Vibrance", November 16, 2023
One of my favorite pieces! From an activity where we were dropping dots of paint and swirling them around to produce really quite vibrant images. This painting wasn't quite as popping as some of the others, and it took me a while to figure out exactly where it fit in. Moving the canvas around, the image of the woman became clear and I drew it out on the canvas. Almost immediately, all the flaws I thought the painting had disappeared, and I was left with an image of a beautiful, vibrant, powerful woman. How quickly a change in perspective can completely shift the way you look at something!
