"Pegasus", February 8, 2023
This and Ocean Sunset were from an activity where we were drip painting and layering. Pegasus is more heavily layered and a bit harder to see for me, but the image is still quite beautiful. The scene in my mind is a horse riding over water at night, leaving a trail behind it. The red and blue really shine through the negative space of the dark background to define the painting and the red streaks and dusty trail gives the work a lot of motion. There's something very striking about it.
