I don't remember exactly what the circumstances were painting this (or exactly what kind of paint I used), but I do remember the idea was to make sapphic flowers, and this delivers perfectly on that. The purple and yellow paints are textured, which creates a really popping effect that isn't quite captured by the camera here. It's very pretty, and the flowers are indeed gay!
