"Inner Strength", 2023
I don't quite remember what the circumstances behind this drawing was; I even left it undated in my sketchbook. I'm not sure why I didn't, the drawing looks beautiful. There's something very compelling about a trans woman bringing out her inner flame to light her path, and trusting that it will bring her where she needs to go. I don't know what she's facing right now and I don't know if she quite knows or not. But I have faith that she'll be okay.
