I was having a bad day late September, and I decided to make sad art about it. Note the use of the demiromantic flag instead of demisexual; I wasn't really sure where my identity was at the time (it's demisexual bi lesbian). How hard it hit me was pretty unexpected, but I knew I'd get through it, and I did. Being able to draw my feelings out helped a lot though. I also experimented a bit with charcoal here. It brings out a much deeper black than I can get with a colored pencil and really helps define the image here, but it rubs off pretty easily, and doesn't show up as well on camera. Further experiments required.
